Bioshield Paints and coatings were developed in Germany in collaboration with the Volvox Paint Company, Germany (Volvox.de) in 1991. For almost 30 years BioShield has been developing and offering environmentally safe products in the US. They were one of the first green paint companies to offer non-toxic clay paint, natural oil sealers, stains and waxes and we are proud to continue our long relationship.

What attracted us to Bioshield’s products was that they had been tested in Europe which has a long tradition of natural products. Their oils and waxes as well as their cleaning products were and still are favorites of many of our customers.

We carry food-grade BioShield oils and finishes suitable for countertops, bowls, butcher blocks, and kitchen utensils as well as wooden flooring, beams or siding.

Several BioShield products have been formulated to protect, preserve, and clean any wood, cork, linoleum, or stone floor. We also carry teak furniture oil to preserve or renew your outdoor teak furniture. Our BioShield earth pigments are made from earth and mineral bases and can be used to tint BioShield wall glazes, clay paints, and stain finishes.
