This Tubular Skylight Electric Light Kit adds an electric light fixture into a tubular skylight for nighttime use. The light fixture, which is installed directly into the lower portion of the light pipe, is wired to a wall switch. For maximum energy efficiency, use CFL bulbs or — even better — use LED bulbs.
This is a great invention that perfects the art of night lighting where a room is either too small or it's otherwise undesirable to have a second light fixture on the ceiling.
