Natural Light's Thermal Snap Switch is designed to turn on the Natural Light Solar Attic Fan once the temperature in the attic rises to a set temperature. The Thermal Snap Switch thermostat will also prevent the solar attic fan from turning on when the attic temperature is below a set degree.
This is a convenient way to control the temperature in your attic. While it's rare that you would want the fan to stop venting, in some situations, it may be useful.
