SafeCoat Acrylacq is an indoor multi-purpose lacquer substitute, in either matt, satin or gloss sheen, that applies easily with a brush or sprayer. As a topical sealer, it protects against stains, marring and fingerprints. Acrylacq can also be used to encapsulate toxic chemicals when applied directly over most dried finishes.
It's ideal for use on woodwork such as doors, window trim, baseboards, and furniture. Acrylacq dries to a hard, durable finish that won't yellow over time. Please read instructions carefully.
NOTE: For the clearest visual of the wood, use Gloss for the first coat(s) and Satin or Matte for the top coat.
NOTE: This product is not to be used over oil-based polyurethanes or oil-based products. This product will not work over Chalk Painted surfaces.
NOTE: This product is not officially endorsed for use over concrete or formica countertops.
NOTE:This product is not recommended to go over painted artist canvas and other works of art, for that type of project, check out AFM SafeCoat Acriglaze instead.

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation :
Clean surfaces of dirt, grease, mildew and oil. Apply test patches before undertaking large areas to assure good adhesion and lack of surface contamination. Wood staining should be completed before applying finish coats. Previously oil stained wood should be cured 14-20 days before Acrylacq application. To be sure that it bonds well, we recommend a light sanding first with 150-200 grit sand paper.
Application :
Before using, roll the Safecoat Acrylacq container well, then apply as is. Stir product thoroughly every 20 minutes during application. Apply thinly with a brush, pad or airless sprayer.
NOTE: For the clearest visual of the wood, use Gloss for the first coat(s) and Satin or Matte for the top coat.
