Wool has been and continues to be the fiber of choice for commercial and residential applications. Many hotels use it because it acts as a natural air purifier attracting air-borne pollutants such as dust, smoke and pollen and holding them until they can be vacuumed away. Tests show this air purification feature can last up to 15 years.
Wool is also fire safe and is used extensively in hotels, on commercial airplanes and jets, submarines, and military vehicles because it naturally extinguishes fire. It also does not promote the growth of dust mites or bacteria.
